Registered Nurse - Bank (Nights) The Highgate Care Home – 12 Hornsey Ln, London N6 5LX Rate of pay: £21.54 – £24.94 per hour depending on experience. Responsibilities Take responsibility for the well‑being of our residents and ensure their physical, emotional and social needs are met. Coach and guide the team, providing formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and other care professionals. Carry out assessments and develop, implement and evaluate individualised care plans for each of our residents. Monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and comply with relevant standards, policies and legislation. Key Skills / Qualifications Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN and experience managing a unit alongside clinical duties in a care home. Experience ensuring policies and standards are maintained to a high clinical standard. Confidence in offering clinical guidance for care teams, essential for CQC tasks. Ability to build connections with residents and their families, providing kindness and support. Effective communication and reporting skills to handover clinical issues to other team members and health‑care professionals. When working at night, possess enhanced skills to ensure patient safety, strong critical thinking, confidence, self‑reliance and the ability to manage care staff and remain calm in emergencies.
