Salesforce Solution Architect

Salesforce ArchitectResponsibilities:Own end-to-end solution architecture across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Government Cloud, and Data CloudDefine data models, sharing/security architecture, and integration strategy across the client's ecosystemLead technical design sessions and produce architecture diagrams, ERDs, and technical design documentsGuide teams on governor limits, scalability, and platform best practicesOwn the org's release strategy — assess each seasonal Salesforce release for architectural impact, deprecations, and new capability adoption (e.g., Flow migration from Process Builder/Workflow Rules, Agentforce agent design)Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and adminsSupport pre-sales activities: solutioning, estimation, and proposal support for federal opportunitiesEnsure compliance with federal security and accessibility requirements (FedRAMP, Section 508, NIST 800-53 where applicable)Required Qualifications:6+ years of Salesforce implementation experience, including 3+ years in an architect-level roleSalesforce Application Architect or System Architect Certification (or both — Certified Technical Architect a strong plus)Deep expertise in data architecture, integration patterns, and security modelsDemonstrated experience keeping orgs current with recent Salesforce releasesU.S. Citizenship required; active clearance strongly preferredPreferred Qualifications:Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA)Experience architecting Government Cloud Plus or FedRAMP High environmentsHands-on experience with Data Cloud, Agentforce, and Einstein AI capabilitiesPrior experience as an architect on a federal systems integrator teamExperience presenting architecture to government client stakeholders (PMO, ISSO, etc.)About Varmoda:Varmoda is a federal IT solutions provider founded in 2020 and headquartered in McLean, Virginia, delivering citizen-centric public services across Financial Assistance, Public Benefits, and Security & Defense domains.
