Sanitation - 3rd shift

SUMMARY: The Sanitation Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic production environment by cleaning and sanitizing equipment, tools, and work areas in accordance with company and regulatory standards. This role plays a critical part in ensuring food safety and operational readiness for the production department. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in wet, cold, and physically demanding conditions, be able to follow detailed sanitation procedures, and be flexible in performing various tasks across departments, including equipment set up and cross-training in related areas. RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain all equipment, tools, and work areas in a clean and ready-to-use condition for the production department Perform cleaning of miscellaneous equipment and designated areas as required by the Sanitation crew Participate in all departmental operations as needed Cross-train in Smoker, Cook Tank, and Massage Operator duties Set up and dismantle production equipment to support specific cleaning processes Use appropriate chemicals and water to thoroughly remove food residue from equipment and surfaces Clean and sanitize tanks, hoppers, conveyors, and related machinery Wear company-provided protective equipment and strictly follow all safety procedures Carry out maintenance tasks or other duties as assigned Work effectively in high-temperature water environments Regularly bend, stoop, push, pull, and walk as part of job duties Be flexible and willing to perform various departmental responsibilities as needed Complete other duties as assigned #J-18808-Ljbffr Kayem Foods, Inc.
