Job description :

Microsoft Power Platform Developer to support the design, development, integration, testing, and deployment of the RHY Connect solution for NYC DYCD. The developer will build mobile-responsive Power Pages and Power Apps solutions integrated with Dataverse, Power Automate, Dynamics 365, and Azure technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance mobile-responsive Power Pages and Power Apps solutions for smartphone, tablet, and desktop users.

• Configure Dataverse tables, relationships, forms, business rules, and role-based security.

• Develop Power Automate workflows for notifications, approvals, status changes, and business processes.

• Integrate Power Platform solutions with Dynamics 365 and other enterprise systems using REST APIs, Dataverse Web API, and Azure services.

• Support RHY Connect functionality including real-time bed availability, reservations, referrals, provider responses, and user notifications.

• Configure Power Pages authentication, web roles, and page/table permissions.

• Support development and testing of mobile-responsive and intermittent-connectivity capabilities, including local caching, queued updates, synchronization, and recovery from network interruptions.

• Develop responsive user interfaces using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, React, and related web technologies.

• Support application testing, troubleshooting, CI/CD, deployment, and production stabilization.

• Participate in solution design, peer reviews, technical documentation, and knowledge transfer.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Power Pages, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.

• Experience developing mobile-responsive Power Platform applications.

• Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Microsoft Dynamics 365.

• Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5/CSS, REST APIs, and JSON.

• Experience with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Web Apps, or App Service.

• Experience with Git and modern software development practices.

• Strong understanding of role-based access, application security, workflows, and data integration.

• Experience working within Agile software development environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Progressive Web Applications (PWA) or applications designed for intermittent connectivity.

• Experience with React, C#, ASP.NET, Node.js, PowerShell, or SQL.

• Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Service.

• Experience with Power Platform ALM, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD.

• Experience supporting public-sector or regulated applications.

• Microsoft Power Platform or Dynamics 365 certifications preferred.
