What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting details and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances exits and visitor activity while verifying identification badges and/or access permissions in accordance with site protocols.
• Communicate with site personnel visitors and/or public agency representatives regarding security-related concerns directions and incident updates as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 years of combined law enforcement military and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
