Responsibilities Route Sales Representative (RSR) is responsible for ordering, sales, and delivery of fresh baked products. Maintain a neat, professional appearance (uniform where applicable) and build/maintain strong customer relationships. Check delivery vehicle daily, keep accurate records, report maintenance issues, and fill daily driver logs and hours of service. Work varying schedules with early start times (typical start around 3:00am) and days off on Wednesday and Sunday. Increase sales by expanding shelf space, creating in-store promotions and displays, and ensuring proper product rotation to maximize shelf life. Use data and marketing plans to build relationships and drive customer growth through planning, ordering, and execution. Collaborate with customers to raise sales and improve customer satisfaction; adapt to service windows and non-traditional hours as needed. Develop industry knowledge and work independently or as part of a team in a Direct Store Delivery (DSD) environment. Prior delivery driver experience is beneficial. Preferred Qualifications Sales experience. Delivery driver experience. High school diploma or GED. Essential Job Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age. Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years. Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card. Valid state driver’s license and a documented safe driving record. Must meet Fleet Insurance Guidelines. Adhere to federal, state, and local rules regarding CMV operation. Complete RSR training (4-week company-paid training). Ability to push or pull up to 50 lbs regularly. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required. Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000.
