Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidates geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity./ppSchedule: Monday - Friday | (Shift end times can vary based work demands)/pulliMonday - Friday 9:00am-6:00pm/li/ulpResponsibilities/pulliLead presentations covering Cardinal Healths policies and procedures./liliTrain new associates in processes, work assignments, and various skills pertaining to their daily job functions./liliAssist with on-going training and development of associates in need of assistance./liliLead the team in daily job functions./liliFollow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to process orders including accurately picking, performing quality control checks, sorting, consolidating freight, building and wrapping pallets, packing, loading and preparing the orders for shipment./liliResponsible for cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and/or participates in projects as assigned by your manager or other management team member./liliReceive large boxes on warehouse dock, scan product with RF scanner, and input product information into computer./liliBreak down cases of product and operate heavy equipment to replenish warehouse./liliUtilize voice to pick system to pick large case items with material handling equipment or to pick small unit of measure items and place on cart./liliPalletize large items to skid and wrap for shipment./liliPack small items in boxes./liliDrive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes: order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider./liliPerform housekeeping and inventory control tasks, maintaining a clean work environment including complying with all Environmental Health and Safety requirements./li/ulpQualifications/pulliHigh School Diploma or GED preferred/lili6+ years of related experience preferred/lili6+ years distribution warehouse experience preferred/liliAutomated or RF (Radio Frequency) warehouse experience beneficial/liliAbility to operate or willingness to learn material handling equipment (pallet jacks, cherry/order pickers, reach trucks, forklifts)/liliAbility to work standing for long periods of time with frequent stooping or bending/liliAbility to lift up to 50 pounds/liliAbility to be detail oriented, quality focused and self-motivated/liliFluent in the English language with the ability to read and write/liliAbility to work in coordination with other team members to accomplish goals/liliAbility to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established performance quotas and standards/liliMust be flexible to work overtime as needed/liliAdherence to site safety regulations including wearing required personal protective equipment such as steel toed safety shoes, and material handling equipment safety harness; accountable to Cardinal Healths EHS as well as QRA policies and procedures./li/ulpWhat is expected of you and others at this level/pulliTakes the lead in effectively applying and teaching new processes and skills in order to accomplish a wide variety of assignments/liliComprehensive knowledge in technical or specialty area/liliAbility to apply knowledge beyond own areas of expertise/liliPerforms the most complex and technically challenging work within area of specialization/liliPreempts potential problems and provides effective solutions for team/liliWorks independently to interpret and apply company procedures to complete work/liliProvides guidance to less experienced team members/liliMay have team leader responsibilities but does not formally supervise/li/ulpCandidates who are back-to-work, people with disabilities, without a college degree, and Veterans are encouraged to apply./ppCardinal Health supports an inclusive workplace that values diversity of thought, experience and background.
