Manufacturing Controls and Electromechanical Technician

We’re seeking a Manufacturing Controls and Electromechanical Technician on second shift to keep our equipment running at peak performance.Role HighlightsTroubleshoot and repair PLC, electrical, and electronic control systems.Diagnose hydraulic and pneumatic circuits and restore function promptly.Install controls and wiring from schematics/blueprints; complete layouts for new services (panels, breakers, conduit).Mount and wire motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures per diagram specifications.Dismantle machinery to replace defective parts such as brushes and armatures.Inspect installed electrical equipment for hazards and make required adjustments or replacements using proper test instruments.Interpret blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions; log tasks and parts in the CMMS.Leverage knowledge of electrical power and water distribution; perform basic mechanical repairs.Perform duties of lower classifications when needed and occasionally direct their work.Execute a variety of assignments as directed by the Group Leader.Schedule & Compensation2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 p.m.–1:00 a.m.Hourly: $36.79–$41.03 (DOE/Qualifications).Sign-On: $5,000 upon successful hiring.Minimum QualificationsTwo-year Associate degree plus 2–4 years of related experience.Proficiency with computers to look up parts and enter work into a CMMS.Positive attitude and strong work ethic.Physical & Pre-EmploymentStanding long period, sitting, manual dexterity, stooping, bending.Passing a pre-employment physical including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.Compliance: Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background checkBenefitsStable and growing work environment.Paid vacation in your first year and 11 company-paid holidays.Medical plan with company-paid Health Reimbursement Account.Dental and vision plans.401(k) plan.Company-paid Life and AD&D Insurance with option to purchase additional coverage.Company-paid Long-Term Disability (LTD).Annual wage increases, Safety Recognition Program, Perfect Attendance Awards.Tuition reimbursement and annual social events for employees and families. #J-18808-Ljbffr
