BayCare Medical Group, a physician-led, not-for-profit organization and part of BayCare Health System—the largest academic health system in the region—is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Developmental–Behavioral Pediatrician to join its growing academic pediatrics team in Tampa, Florida.

This is a unique opportunity to serve in a faculty role within BayCare's Pediatric Residency Program. This position is ideal for an experienced developmental–behavioral pediatrician who is passionate about medical education, mentorship, and shaping the next generation of pediatricians.

Position highlights:

• Key faculty role within an established BayCare-sponsored Pediatric Residency Program
• Serve as Rotation Director for the required Developmental–Behavioral Pediatrics rotation
• Actively contribute to curriculum development and ongoing program evolution
• Preceptor pediatric residents in the outpatient clinical setting
• Provide mentorship and academic guidance to residents in collaboration with the Program Director and core faculty
• Opportunity to influence program growth, quality, and educational excellence within a supportive, physician-led academic system

Qualifications:

• Current certification in Developmental/Behavioral Pediatrics by the ABP or AOBP
• Current medical licensure in the state of Florida or eligible for licensure
• Fellowship training in Developmental–Behavioral Pediatrics required
• Demonstrated interest in teaching, curriculum development, and resident mentorship
• Academic or teaching experience strongly preferred
