The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in emergency medicine and critical care transport, with experience in both Level I and Level II Trauma Centers. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality pre-hospital care to patients in various emergency situations, ensuring their safety and well-being during transport to medical facilities. Must have a Illinois, Missouri, or National Paramedic license.Responsibilities* Assess patients' conditions and provide appropriate emergency medical care based on established protocols.* Administer medications and perform advanced life support techniques as needed.* Utilize medical terminology and physiology knowledge to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.* Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment, including DME (Durable Medical Equipment).* Ensure aseptic technique is followed during all procedures to prevent infection.* Collaborate with other healthcare providers in the hospital setting to facilitate patient care.* Document all patient interactions, treatments administered, and outcomes accurately in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.* Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with best practices in emergency medicine.## Qualifications* Current Paramedic certification from an accredited program.* Valid state driver's license and clean driving record.* Experience working in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center is preferred.* Knowledge of emergency medicine protocols and critical care transport procedures.* Familiarity with medical terminology, physiology, and medication administration techniques.* Ability to work effectively under pressure in high-stress environments.* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.* Willingness to participate in continuous professional development opportunities.Join our team of dedicated professionals committed to providing exceptional patient care in emergencies.
