Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to observe, evaluate, and coordinate patient care in the Special Procedures department. This role involves participation in both direct and indirect patient care activities, in alignment with our policies, procedures, philosophy, and mission.Essential FunctionsCollect relevant data pertaining to the patient's health or situation.Analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues.Develop a plan that prescribes interventions to achieve desired outcomes.Implement the care plan, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe environment.Evaluate patient progress towards attaining health outcomes.Connect and monitor electrocardiogram (EKG) leads, alerting the physician to any changes in patient condition.Record and analyze hemodynamic parameters, calculating shunt and valve data.Operate specialized equipment including MIDAS systems, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and defibrillators with precision.Evaluate and report significant data and findings throughout procedures for patients across various age groups.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.Registered Nurse experience in critical care, medical-surgical settings, or in a Cardiac Cath Lab/Special Procedure department preferred.Active Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice is required.Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.Advanced Electrocardiogram (EKG) certification is preferred.Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification is also required.Work ScheduleThis position involves variable 10-hour shifts, with a schedule that may include early morning or late afternoon start times, depending on case requirements.Client Details City Los Angeles State CA
