Location: Hybrid – Chicago IL – 3 Days onsite
Duration: thru Dec
Rate: DOE
What you need to succeed: At least 9 + years' experience in building highly scalable, high performance, and highly available back-end applications. Kafka streaming experience Experience with event driven framework Strong Mongo DB skills and experience Development expertise in REST/SOAP/JSON API. Solid working knowledge of NoSQL – (e.g. ElasticSearch + Time Series Databases). Unix background with RedHat Spring Cloud Stream – preference skill Payments domain or financial industry experience Experience with large volumes of data Solid understanding of algorithm complexity, parallel/distributed systems, advanced data structures, computer networking, and operating systems. Prior experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Start-up environment experience will be a plus, although not mandatory. Strength in backend service development Self-initiating developer Takes ownership and is reliable
