Operations Leader Legendary Sweat Payroll LLC Indianapolis, Indiana, United States About this position Job Summary: As a Operations Leader at Legendary Dogs, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our store locations. Your primary focus will be on managing inventory, maintaining organizational systems, and supporting the front of house team to ensure seamless customer experiences. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities & Core Competencies Inventory Management: Oversee accurate receiving, storing, and organizing of inventory to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages. Conduct regular inventory audits, track stock levels, and manage reorder processes to ensure availability. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely delivery and restocking. Operational Efficiency: Implement and maintain organizational systems to ensure the back of house area is clean, orderly, and compliant. Manage shipment processing: unpacking, labeling, storing. Ensure proper documentation and record‑keeping of inventory movements. Support for Front of House: Assist front desk with inventory queries and support customer requests. Collaborate with sales to adjust inventory levels. Facilitate product transfers between back and front of house. Quality Control: Inspect incoming shipments, address discrepancies. Monitor expiration dates of perishable products. Enforce standard operating procedures for handling and storing. Team Collaboration & Leadership: Lead and train back of house staff. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Participate in team meetings and share insights. Qualifications Must love dogs! High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in operations, inventory management, or retail is a plus. Previous experience in inventory management, logistics, or a related field is preferred. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability. Knowledge of retail operations, inventory management systems, and pet care products/services is desirable. Excellent problem‑solving skills and proactive adaptability. Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a positive work environment. Flexibility to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays. Requirements & Physical Demands Flexible work schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to spend up to 100% of work time standing and moving. Advanced computer literacy.
