Description Provides instruction in computer-aided design to students enrolled in non-credit workforce training in the Center of Excellence for Advanced Manufacturing. Courses emphasize practical, hands-on training rather than academic credit. Description Provides instruction in computer-aided design to students enrolled in non-credit workforce training in the Center of Excellence for Advanced Manufacturing. Courses emphasize practical, hands-on training rather than academic credit. Job Duties Teach fundamental and intermediate CAD skills using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD 2024 Prepare learners for entry-level positions in drafting, design and manufacturing Ability to teach CAD to adult learners and peers Ability to use computer software to enter time worked Other duties as assigned Qualifications Proven experience with CAD Programming and Application Ability to Teach Others Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to articulate in both small and large group settings and with diverse groups of people including co-workers, students, business contacts and at various levels from front-line to administration Ability to pass a background check Physical Demands The employee frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time and use hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone and basic office equipment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear Bending, Crouching, or Kneeling during hands-on lab demonstrations or classroom setup Ability to lift up to 50lbs Cognitive Requirements:   (as presently performed to accomplish essential functions) Reading, Writing, Calculating Social Interaction Skills Reasoning/Analysis Works with Minimal Supervision Free access to our brand-new Wellness Center and fitness classes, our employee assistance program & free parking.
