Our Global Logistics and Distribution business unit provides comprehensive logistics services and warehousing solutions utilizing a global network of distribution centers, innovative technology and supply chain expertise to manage the flow of goods from receiving to storage and order processing to shipment.Job SummaryA Facility Security Coordinator (FSC) at a Certified Cargo Screening Facility (CCSF) oversees daily cargo security operations and ensures total compliance with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) regulations.Core ResponsibilitiesRegulatory Compliance: Act as the primary facility-level point of contact for the TSA, ensuring adherence to standard security programs, local operating plans, and manual of operating procedures (MOP).Training Management: Verify that all cargo screeners and supervisors complete mandatory initial and recurring TSA training on time, maintaining accurate training records for audits.Audit and Inspection Oversight: Conduct routine, unannounced internal audits of Designated Screening Areas (DSAs) and coordinate external/monthly compliance inspections.Documentation & Log Verification: Review daily screening logs, compare them against waybills or airway bills to verify that all cargo is accounted for, and secure required compliance paperwork.Chain of Custody & Access Control: Oversee strict chain-of-custody controls and tamper-evident procedures for cargo from the moment it is screened until it is tendered to an aircraft operator.Monitoring & Incident Response: Review CCTV footage of screening activities, address equipment malfunctions or outages immediately, and log any security breaches or discrepancies.Basic EligibilityCitizenship or Status: Must be a U.S. citizen, national, or an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence.Education: Must have a high school diploma, a General Equivalency Diploma (GED), or equivalent work experience approved by the facility.Language Skills: Must read, speak, and write English well enough to understand written and oral safety instructions.QualificationsExperience in Warehousing Shipping & ReceivingMicrosoft Office proficiencyCommunication skillsKnowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)PITO Certified - PreferredOther CriteriaMust be currently located in the same geographic location as the job - RequiredJob Level: 51 - SpecialistJob Grade: 10EDeadline to Apply: September 30th, 2026, at 11:59 PM.Employee Type: PermanentUPS is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
