CONCESSIONS CASHIER

Job Summary The Concessions Cashier is responsible for accurately ringing up and selling product efficiently. The cashier should be comfortable approaching guests to offer services and sell products. In addition, the cashier must be willing to help fellow co‑workers complete tasks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Handle credit card transactions using the Point of Sales system. Respond to guests’ needs and requests, effectively using suggestive and upselling techniques, and maintain service areas. Complete steps of service to ensure utmost guest satisfaction. Understand and describe menu offerings, packaging/presentation and pricing. Employ good safety and sanitation practices. Follow cash handling and tip reporting guidelines. Maintain the stand sheet with inventory responsibilities. Adhere to Levy Company guidelines as stated in the team member training manual and employee handbook. Thoroughly complete all station set‑up and breakdown responsibilities. Communicate guest issues to management. Follow responsible alcohol service policies. Practice proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment. Stand for long periods of time (up to 6 hours) and actively engage physically with guests. Be able to reach with hands and arms for one‑third to two‑thirds or more of the designated shift. Be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations. Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day. Lift or move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements The ideal candidate desires to gain experience and work in the foodservice or hospitality industry. Previous cash handling experience is preferred. An outgoing personality is preferred. The candidate should be able to interact with high‑profile guests and remain professional and dedicated to providing an exceptional experience. The ability to communicate effectively by speaking and comprehending English, with the ability to problem‑solve and make decisions with little guidance.
