Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor & Delivery – Winfield, KS Start Date: Not specified Location: Winfield, Kansas Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week guaranteed with overtime available after 48 hours Highlights: Critical access facility with approximately 12-25 deliveries per month (231 deliveries annually) Full-spectrum maternal and newborn care including labor, delivery, postpartum, and all newborn testing and documentation Two OB RNs staffed per shift with on-call rotation when census is low (20-minute response time) Respiratory therapy available in-house 24/7 with additional NRP-certified support from house supervisors and ER staff 91-day assignment in a supportive, team-oriented environment Requirements: Current Kansas RN license or compact state license BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring certifications required Experience in labor and delivery with full-spectrum maternal and newborn care Ability to float to med/surg, ICU, or ER for support duties when OB census is low (no patient assignment required) Comfortable working independently in a critical access setting with limited resources Why Join Us?
