Job Description:

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree or Higher in Information Systems Juggling multiple tasks as needed

• 7-10+ Years' Experience

Specifications:

• Listed below are the detailed functional and technical specifications and standards for all Services and Deliverables, including test plans, test scripts and quality standards.

• Product Management for ETL/Data Quality/Data Governance must follow the standard client PMO documents

• KT/Handoff must follow the standard client Handoff documents

• Validation of Data Marketplace/ETL must use the standard client Quality Check scripts

• Gathering of requirements must use the standard client Data requirement questionnaires

• Documentation: Listed below are the documentation standards the Provider will follow with respect to the Services and the Deliverables under this SOW.

• ETL/Analytics/Data Governance and KT/Handoff Process documents

Responsibilities :

• Developing enterprise application components using latest tools and technologies.

• Design, code and debug process that confirms to business requirements, data loading components for data from different databases, flat files and other source systems.

• Develop applications with focus on using development in Extract, Transform and Load (ETL), Java, Python, PL/SQL, CKAN, JSON, XML,Informatica, AWS,Hadoop,Talend Business Intelligence (BI), Postgres and several other Open Source tools.

• Re-engineer some of the application components to increase performance, ease maintenance and incorporate industry enterprise best practices.

• Develop techniques/processes to tune performance, usability, automation of daily data loads.

• Integrating software packages, programs and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms.

• Design process for application testing and quality assurance.

• Developing applications comprised of distributed data processing in enterprise tools & components that run on multiple platforms

• Handle code migrations across different environments.

• Participate in code walkthroughs and mentoring the team members to optimize code.

• Investigate and test various platform dependencies to proactively develop solutions.

• Review and approve appropriate written materials and documentation. Produce Technical documentation and other written materials, as well as maintain the documentation library.

• Communicate with technical staff in the I.S. Department to resolve bugs and other malfunctions in computer software and processes.

• Handle end-to-end requirements gathering sessions/design/hands-on development for all the layers starting from staging data from source systems, enhancing data quality and publishing data for integration with different consumers.
