Travel Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer - Echo/Cardiac

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric/Fetal Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech III) with 7–10 years of cardiac ultrasound experience and RDCS or RCS credentialing for a pediatric cardiology setting. Requirements 7–10 years of cardiac clinical ultrasound experience Experience performing pediatric/congenital echocardiograms independently RDCS or RCS credential required, or registry eligible through ARDMS or CCI Current AHA BLS certification Associate Degree in Allied Health or related field, completion of a 2–4 year Diagnostic Ultrasound program, or 7+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree Ability to work effectively in high-acuity environments Two professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration License required if applicable Responsibilities Pediatric and fetal cardiology echo unit within a children's hospital setting Performs complex congenital heart and fetal echocardiograms independently May require travel between cardiology clinic locations for fetal imaging coverage 5x8-hour day shifts, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM On-call rotation covering Monday through Sunday, 3 weeks of the contract Independently analyzes imaging data and presents findings to cardiologists and physicians Assists with special and invasive cardiac procedures Educates patients and families regarding procedures and findings Responsible for maintaining echocardiography equipment and supporting quality improvement initiatives ARDMS Fetal Echocardiography (FE) credential preferred Minimum 2 years of fetal echocardiography experience preferred Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) PlanWeekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-717771 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr Newsandtribune
