Educational Sales Specialist

Responsibilities Promote, recommend, and sell musical products and services using consultative selling techniques to maximize customer satisfaction and results. Support a Customer First culture through exceptional service. Manage inbound and outbound calls, resolving customer needs in an effective and professional manner. Demonstrate best practices in sales tactics and call quality to provide a great experience for the customer and prevent issues during order fulfillment. Maintain appropriate customer documentation within necessary systems of record. Manage the bid/quote process from creation through closure. Stay informed of current competitive offers and product technologies to position company products/services confidently. Employ effective listening skills and descriptive verbal communication, including diction, grammar, and tone. Ask probing questions to accurately identify customer needs. Handle objections effectively. Demonstrate self‑motivation, upbeat demeanor, and a high energy level. Show strong customer focus, teamwork, and work ethics. Navigate multiple systems to resolve complex multichannel issues. Adhere to quality standards, meeting sales and performance goals set by management. Exceed all performance expectations including product sales, add‑on sales, call handling metrics, and quality standards. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word). Self‑motivated with strong interpersonal skills. Previous experience selling musical instruments, accessories, print, or other music‑related technologies or services. Exceptional service skills in verbal and written communication, specifically phone service and sales skills. Preferred Qualifications At least 2 years of music school, instrument sales, or related experience. Prior sales experience with both B2B and B2C organizations.
