Completes written departmental shift report.Demonstrates good aseptic technique and infection control practices.Attends inservice and educational programs as required.Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GEDReading, comprehension skills, and able to communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team.Ability to function efficiently in a changing and stressful environment. Must be conscientious with regard to detail and techniques.CSPDT - Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Tech - State of Pennsylvania Within 1.5 Years orCRCST - Certified and Registered Central Service Technician IAHCSMM - State of Pennsylvania Within 1.5 YearsPhysical Demands Lift and carry 40-50 lbs. Examples: Push/pull patients on bed, stretcher (requires 29 lbs. push force), lateral transfers up to 50 lbs. of the patient's weight. Frequent to continuous standing/walking.
