Salad Prep
The Ned Nomad is hiring for a Salad Prep Position in Flatiron, New York City. Base pay starts at $18/hr.
We are looking for a Salad Prep to support and report directly into the Executive Chef. This is a fast-moving business so we are looking for the right individual to be autonomous and be able to pick up multiple tasks and projects at once. Our culture is pacey but supportive, so you must be able to work in synergy with your peers and the different departments around you. Being an active communicator who is a team player and detail-oriented is a must to ensure a uniquely brilliant culinary experience is received by members and guests.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 + years of experience in a fast paced and professional environment
- Previous experience working in a high-volume and food forward restaurant
- Proven success of "champion of the culture," facilitating excellent communication and engagement
- Team focused with an understanding of the bigger picture and how you can contribute
- Able to effectively manage different stakeholders and be persuasive
NOTE - Tax withholding is calculated using Federal and New York State 2022 income tax guidelines. For simplification, we've assumed "single" marital status and no additional income. This does not represent any legal authority and is just an estimate used for approximation purposes.
