Medical AssistantWe are seeking a Medical Assistant for an immediate need. The Medical Assistant role is integral to providing excellent patient care. Responsibilities include greeting and checking in patients, as well as notifying the appropriate provider. You will prepare patients, rooms, and equipment for procedures and exams. Taking and recording vital signs while informing the provider of any patient concerns is part of the role. You will assist with various tasks including EKGs, urine dips, pregnancy testing, vision and hearing screenings, and vaccine administration. Assisting clinicians during procedures and handling prescription refills are also key responsibilities. This position operates in a fast-paced environment with a mix of well visits and acute care. Successful candidates will possess strong work ethics, professionalism, and flexibility. Ability to work well as part of a team is essential. Computer skills are preferred. Willingness to participate in weekend and holiday coverage is required. Candidates with ambulatory, primary care, and pediatric to geriatric experience are preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are necessary.
