Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency room setting during night shifts, ensuring swift assessment and effective treatment of acute conditions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to stabilize and support patients in emergency situations.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions promptly upon arrival and determine the priority of care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changing conditions efficiently.
• Document patient information, care plans, and interventions accurately in medical records.
• Educate patients and families on ongoing care, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the relevant state.
• Demonstrate experience working in an emergency department or acute care setting.
• Possess strong assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Able to work effectively during night shifts, maintaining focus and professionalism.
• Have current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications as required.
