Position Overview As a Receiver, you will verify incoming merchandise for accuracy, damage, and infestation, ensuring correct quantities are received. Responsibilities include examining shipment contents against records, recording data such as weight and damages, maintaining accurate inventory through cycle counts, and addressing discrepancies like shortages or damages. You will label pallets, verify inbound freight against purchase orders, and operate warehouse management systems and equipment such as RF guns and forklifts. Additionally, you will monitor for pests, support efficient flow from receiving to shipping, and perform routine inventory tasks. Qualifications & Skills Ability to complete Receiving Certification Reliable, safety-conscious, with good attendance Accurate with attention to detail, strong math and reading skills Basic computer proficiency; experience operating MHE (e.g., pallet jack, forklift) Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs, stand, walk, and perform repetitive movements Fall protection training required Key Competencies Inspires trust, fosters inclusivity, and builds talent Results-driven with continuous improvement mindset Adaptable to change and focused on safety This role supports warehouse operations in a perishable environment, working primarily during second shift.
