Location: Manhattan, NY
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED (required).
Minimum 1 year of clerical experience (required); 5+ years strongly preferred.
Data entry speed of at least 4,500 keystrokes (required).
Strong telephone, customer service, oral, and written communication skills.
Proficiency in keyboarding and general computer applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) preferred but not required.
Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system.
Some college coursework preferred.
Knowledge of health insurance benefits and authorization requirements.
Familiarity with medical coding (ICD-9, CPT-4).
Experience in a healthcare or medical office environment.
