CNC Operator
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC mills, lathes, or other machining equipment
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements
- Select tooling, fixtures, and materials based on job specifications
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
- Perform in-process and final inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
- Maintain production documentation, setup sheets, and inspection records
- Conduct routine machine maintenance and minor troubleshooting
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve processes and output
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and quality inspection processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Job Type & Location
This is a permanent position based out of Clifton, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
