The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a 3rd Shift- Food Industry Maintenance Tech  to work at a company located in the Melrose Park, IL  area!

Job Title: 3rd Shift- Food Industry Maintenance Tech 

Job Location: Melrose Park, IL

Pay Rate: $30 to $40 p/hr depending on experience

Shift: 8 hours a day – 6 days a week but will work overtime if needed and Saturday and Sunday 10-12 hours one will work Sat and will work Sunday 

40 hours a week and maybe some weekends 

Job Description: 

1. Must have 2 years of Maintenance Technician experience
2. Must have strong electrical background PLC, working with highspeed packaging machinery and automation
3. 2-5 years’ working in the industrial bakery or food manufacturing environment 
4. Responsible for production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
5. Knowledgeable in set up, adjustment, maintenance and repair of machinery and mechanical equipment used in the production facility.
6. Must have electrical and mechanical experience.
7. Knowledgeable in supporting equipment (such as ovens, packing lines, conveyors) plumbing, pneumatic hydraulics, and cutting.
8. Electrical, PLC Diagnostics, Welding MIG, TIG, Stick a plus.
9. Strong Mechanical and Problem-Solving Skills.
10. Excellent trouble-shooting skills Service-oriented (responsive)
11. Great communicator, process-oriented, methodical
12. Able to stand for extended periods of time; walking, lifting, climbing, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning, and stooping.
13. Ability to lift 60 pounds. 
14. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Education:

1. High School Diploma.
2. Power Industrial Training Certification a plus
