Preferred or Nice to Have: Candidates with these skills will be considered first. Background in post-op surgical areas (i.e., vascular, bariatric, urology, general surgery, colorectal, and general surgery) List of Typical Procedures Performed: Maintenance of post-op surgical procedure sites Wound care (i.e., packing, dressing changes, wound vac maintenance) Foley Catheter care (Continuous bladder irrigation) Ostomy appliance changed and maintenance Nasogastric Tube insertion and suction TPN Blood Administration Central Line Care and dressing changes Bedside Shift Report Best Personality Fit: Outgoing and customer service oriented Unit Guidelines/Policies: Prompt attendance Open communication Professional appearance Attentive and responsive to patient needs
