Warehouse Associate

Job Overview As a Warehouse Associate with Colony Hardware, you will begin the journey of bringing customer orders to life. To do this you will utilize your willingness to produce high quality, detailed and accurate work to ensure the mission to provide excellent customer service is completed. A Little About Your Day From day to day, you will handle all incoming merchandise by receiving, examining, sorting, organizing, and labeling them with appropriate stock and inventory control codes. Key Responsibilities You will send all picked orders to the packing department after verifying all items are free of defects or damage, and then move the completed orders to appropriate shipment locations. Operating with a strong attention to detail, you will perform scheduled cycle counts of product for inventory and enter all data manually to ensure all information is updated. To maximize accuracy, you will unpack items to be stocked on shelves and load trucks with packed orders following a set of specific instructions and/or procedures in an organized and specified sequence. What You’ll Need for Success A minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse, shipping, receiving or packaging environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted. Ability to work on your feet and perform physical work Experience working with RF Scanners Ability to navigate computer applications and websites Prior experience operating one of the following: Sit-down forklift, stand-up forklift, cherry picker, or pallet jack. Pay Rate Pay Rate: $18.51 - $25.92 Hourly Massachussetts law requires the posting of the salary range for advertised jobs. This range is determined based on market data and internal pay practices to establish a minimum and maximum value for a job. Individual base pay is determined based on a variety of elements including experience, skills, internal equity and other factors.
