Position: Controller

Compensation: $110,000 - $135,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Be a part of a rapidly growing organization that is transitioning from small company operations to a more corporate structure. This is an exciting opportunity to step in and make a significant impact on the financial operations, driving efficiency and compliance. The role is open due to the company's expansion and requires someone with a proactive attitude to streamline processes and support further growth.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Oversee accounting operations including general ledger and payroll
• Ensure timely and accurate financial close processes
• Reconcile bank accounts and Line of Credit daily
• Prepare and present internal financial reports
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Manage external audits and coordinate with auditors
• Analyze financial data to support business decisions
• Develop and implement accounting policies and improvements
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience managing audits and working with auditors
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• CPA certification preferred
• Experience with Sage and transitioning to NetSuite
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and vlookups
• Process improvement mindset
