Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

In this full-time contract position, you'll play an integral role in supporting students’ physical development and functional independence across diverse academic environments.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide school-based physical therapy to students in elementary, middle, or high schools.
• Conduct direct therapy sessions, comprehensive evaluations, and ongoing progress monitoring.
• Complete accurate and timely IEP documentation to support student success.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, special education professionals, teachers, and families.
• Foster student mobility, enabling optimal access and participation within the school environment.
• Uphold compliance with California and school district regulations, ensuring best practices are met in all service delivery.

Desired Experience/Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California (or eligibility to obtain).
• Experience working within educational or pediatric settings preferred, though not required.
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education guidelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Adaptability and initiative to support students across various academic and functional levels.
