Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) - School

Overview The Stepping Stones Group is seeking Licensed Practice Nurses (LPNs) for a contracted, school-based placement in Landover, MD for the 26/27 school year. This is a full-time private duty/1:1 role supporting a local K-12 district with nursing services. We are seeking candidates who have strong trach and vent skills and have experience working in a school-based setting as a private duty nurse. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Active LPN License in MD Current BLS CPR/AED certification Must have School-based experience Must have Private Duty nursing experience with pediatric patients Demonstrated competency in the specific skills required for the assigned student including: Diabetic monitoring, Asthma, Diabetics, Seizure monitoring, Medication administration, Pediatrics, Trach, Vent, G-tubes experience Ability to safely implement physician orders and care plans within LPN scope of practice What You\'ll Do Maintain continuous observation of assigned student throughout the school day Support chronic condition management and assist with medical procedures as outlined in care plans Provide first aid and medication administration Document care and communicate with school teams Accompany student during transportation and community-based activities when assigned Report significant status changes to supervising RN and family WHY YOU\'LL LOVE WORKING WITH US At The Stepping Stones Group, we know that great outcomes for students start with supported, empowered clinicians.
