Job Title: Registered Nurse Location: Mojave, CA Area Code: 661 ZIP Code: 93501 Pay rate: $45-$50/hr Start Date: Right Away Shift: 1st shift Keywords: #RN #RegisteredNurse #RNJobs Job Responsibilities Assist EHS site manager(s) in charge of medical surveillance, in supervising and administering medical programs in compliance with company, governmental requirements and professional standards, by providing company and regulatory required medical examinations of employees and applicants. Monitor status of site health problems, both environmental and employee-related with the advice and counsel of the various local teams (Safety, Hygiene, Ergonomics, Wellness), and providing appropriate information, advice and recommendations for management's corrective and preventive actions. Provide treatment and/or referral of employees needing first aid, emergency care, follow-up, rehabilitation and early and safe return to work, as so required and directed by circumstances, physician's standing orders and professional standards. Pro-actively organizes population-based health promotion initiatives and provides ad hoc counseling on health risk behavior modification and wellness. Responsible for the confidentiality of medical records; maintain a comprehensive system of documentation, records, and reports, for services provided in conformance to both regulatory medical-legal requirements and internal recordkeeping policies; maintain active computerized medical data base in company's electronic database system. Conduct and/or coordinate training of personnel on health-related matters. Counsel with employees on an individual basis, about health-related concerns requiring professional intervention. Continue professional growth by maintaining membership in various occupational health nurse associations and participating in seminars and conferences. To provide occupational health services to employees of the Company. Assist with the development of clinical protocols and care paths for common occupational health issues (vaccine programs, injury prevention, etc.). Strong emphasis on workers" compensation disability/case management with the Company. Assists EHS with workplace injury response, investigations, case management, etc. for assigned sites. Requirements Bachelor's degree Certification of Pulmonary Function and Audiometric testing is required. CURRENT STATE LICENSURE IN GOOD STANDING 3-5 years experience in emergency medical treatment, and/or adult health programs is required.
