Respiratory Therapist

Provides specialized respiratory care to patients under the supervision of a physician, ensuring optimal respiratory function and patient safety. Collaborates with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapies and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient response to respiratory interventions and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Maintain and operate respiratory equipment, ensuring proper function and safety.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in medical records.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions and self-care techniques.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensure/certification.
• Proven experience in a hospital or clinical setting providing respiratory care.
• Strong knowledge of respiratory equipment, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Flexibility to work scheduled hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
