In the United States, if you need a reasonable accommodation for the online application process due to a disability, please call View phone number on click.appcast.io.#LI-Onsite#GME#LI-MH5 What you'll do...Lead the assembly and machining controls engineering deliverables for VOME & PTO programs, from simultaneous engineering through program launch for all Global VOME & PTO sites.Implement and apply standard software and hardware controls architectures across all programs/plants, following the VOME & PTO specification.Ensure the identification and capture of lessons learned along with their application to new programs, as well as the impact to existing strategies and standards.Lead simultaneous engineering meetings with Tier I suppliers to orchestrate controls program reviews with all interested parties.Participate in management program reviews and represent the controls organization in commodity discussions.Drive the controls organization to resolve issues, including feasibility, timing, cost, and workload.Respond to emergency downtime events.Handle current scope program responsibilities.Deliver new model program work for various Powertrain programs supporting and working in either SE MI, Ohio, Kansas City, or Windsor, ONT.Travel up to 80% during peak program times for the next several years (Kansas City, Tennessee & Kentucky to name a few).Work off shift, as the need arises, during peak program install and launch times.Full timePosting Date: 2026-08-06
