Lead the craft in Rancho Dominguez, CA
Step into a role where precision meets momentum. As our Lead CNC Programmer–Machinist, you’ll own the full lifecycle of complex parts—planning setups for mills and lathes, authoring clean G‑code with GibbsCam, validating quality, and keeping production moving with accuracy and speed.
A day in your week- Translate blueprints and technical drawings into efficient CNC programs using GibbsCam and other CAD/CAM tools (Mastercam, SolidWorks).
- Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to machine tight‑tolerance parts, selecting tooling and dialing in offsets.
- Inspect every feature using precision measuring tools to confirm adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and production to troubleshoot issues and refine processes.
- Mentor junior machinists on programming, setups, and best practices.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow all safety protocols.
- Continuously eliminate waste and improve cycle times and part quality.
- 5+ years as a CNC machinist and programmer.
- Fluent in reading prints and technical drawings; strong G‑code fundamentals.
- Hands‑on experience with GibbsCam; familiarity with Mastercam and SolidWorks.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a fast‑paced team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
