About the Position
Job Title: ICU Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: Travel Assignment Shift: 7N/8N Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2 years of ICU experience required License: RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - 2 years of ICU experience - BLS certification - ACLS certification - NIHSS certification - Experience with EMR systems Description: This position is for an ICU Nurse working in a 14-bed unit. Nurses will be responsible for both 7N and 8N ICU floors. Ratios are 2:1, providing critical care to patients. Common diagnoses include respiratory failure, end-stage renal disease, congestive heart failure, septic shock, and cardiac arrest. Scrub colors required are galaxy blue and white. Travelers are expected to function as core staff members. Floating to other units may be required and is part of the role. Cultural fit is very important, and travelers are welcomed into the units. Demographic information must be complete and accurate for consideration.
