We are hiring a Software Engineer to develop, test, and improve the Ubuntu Pro client, a critical command-line tool that manages security and compliance services for Ubuntu systems, pre-installed on every Ubuntu system. You will collaborate with the Ubuntu Server team, cloud partners, and other Canonical teams to enhance the Pro client, ensuring its high quality and stability. This role requires strong Python skills, experience with open source contributions, and familiarity with system administration, apt configuration, and deb packaging. Candidates should be passionate about open source, quality, and supporting a diverse user base from enterprise to hobbyist.
