Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00am- 4:30pm Pay Range: $17-$20 The offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume Duration - 03+ months with possible extension Responsibilities: Perform blood draws and collect specimens (blood, urine, fecal) as required. Explain specimen collection process to patients clearly and courteously. Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes for accuracy. Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as needed. Review and confirm physician orders and test requisitions. Ensure 100% accuracy when checking specimen labels and requisitions. Update patient information in the system. Record maintenance and decontamination activities. Store specimens according to required conditions and temperature. Package specimens for transport to the lab. Follow infection control and safety protocols. Qualifications: THREE years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections. Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred. Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred. *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
