Join a large, respected, and stable organization as a Director of Dining Services leading a dynamic K–12 program serving 4,000 students across seven schools. You’ll work a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule with no nights, weekends, or holidays , plus enjoy lighter summers built for planning, creativity, and innovation . It’s a rare chance to lead at a high level while still having the time to enjoy your life outside of work.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of daily operations, menu strategy, and financial performance while leading a team of up to 40 associates. You’ll partner with an engaged client, elevate the dining experience, and grow a catering program with real potential. With strong onsite support and the backing of a well-established company, you’ll have the tools and runway to make a meaningful impact—and continue to grow your career within an organization known for developing and promoting talent.
We’re looking for a confident, self-driven leader with high-volume dining experience—K–12 preferred, but open to colleges, healthcare, corrections, or similar environments. If you bring strong communication skills, a balanced leadership style, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, this is your chance to step into a role that offers stability, visibility, and long-term advancement —without compromising your quality of life. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire our team of 35 frontline associates.
- Drive strategic initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and increase profitability.
- Recruit, train, and develop top talent within the organization.
- Own the annual budget and control costs optimally.
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Build strong relationships with clients, customers, and associates.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient functioning of a dining service operation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition/Management/Hospitality/Culinary preferred or equivalent experience.
- K12 food service management experience
- Five plus years of foodservice management experience.
- Strong knowledge of high-volume food production and (catering trends) is preferred.
- Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed services experience.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Bilingual - English & Spanish preferred.
