Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A healthcare facility in Bend, OR is seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician to support their pharmacy operations on a contract basis. This role involves distributing prescribed medications, offering detailed information about medication use, and delivering exceptional customer service in a busy pharmacy environment.
Location: Bend, OR
Contract Status: Signed
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (9 hours daily)
- Coverage through July 2026
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately distribute drugs prescribed by physicians and other healthcare practitioners
- Provide clear, accurate information to customers regarding medication use and safety
- Maintain a high standard of customer service to enhance patient satisfaction
- Support pharmacy staff in operational duties as needed
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Oregon Pharmacy Technician License (required)
- Certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
- Experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings considered ideal
- Strong communication and organizational skills
