Certified Residential Appraiser

Role Description

We are hiring Certified Appraisers in the following areas:

• Detroit and surrounding suburbs
• Ann Arbor and nearby communities
• Lansing and the greater mid-Michigan region
• Traverse City and the Northern Michigan area

Appraisers start at 50% of the total fee for each completed appraisal report, with the opportunity to increase fee split after 90 days based on performance, reliability, and alignment with company standards.

In select markets, high-performing appraisers will be considered for salaried staff appraiser roles following this period. These positions include performance-based bonuses and health benefits to those who demonstrate consistency and align with long-term company goals.

Qualifications

• Certified Residential Appraiser License (Required)
• A growth-oriented mindset—eager to learn, adapt, and evolve with the company
• Ability to work independently while remaining open to feedback and process improvements
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with appraisal software and market research tools
• A professional and communicative approach, ensuring alignment with company expectations and long-term goals

• Utilizing available tools and resources to streamline workflow
• Maintaining clear and professional communication with clients when needed
