Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist - Belvidere, IL

Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This per diem opportunity is ideal for a licensed Illinois pharmacist with retail experience seeking flexible daytime hours in an ambulatory outpatient retail setting. The assignment spans approximately six weeks, offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, with potential Saturday shifts as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a daily prescription volume of 200-250 scripts on weekdays and approximately 100 on weekends.
Accurately process medication orders using Epic Willow, facilitating timely and safe dispensing.
Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations while delivering exceptional patient care.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications:

Valid Illinois pharmacist license required.
Retail pharmacy experience necessary to handle high-volume dispensing.
Familiarity with Epic Willow order entry system is a plus; training will be provided.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
Possible Saturdays when needed
