ICU Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our team for a night shift position. The nurse will have the opportunity to float to other campuses if necessary, ensuring that care is maintained across our facilities. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and effective communication within the ICU setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in the ICU, following protocols and best practices.
• Assist in the administration of medication and treatment as per physician orders.
• Monitor patients' health and progress, making notes of significant changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care delivery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using the electronic charting system.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent, consecutive experience in ICU in a hospital/acute care setting.
• Valid RN license in the applicable state.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Must have prior travel experience; first-time travelers will not be considered.
• Experience with electronic charting systems preferred, particularly Epic.

Schedule

This is a night shift position, consisting of 3 twelve-hour shifts per week (19:00 - 07:00). Weekend coverage is required, and all time-off requests must be submitted in advance.
