Join Our Team as a CNA or DSP (7am-3pm) in Chatham, IL!

Looking for a fulfilling role where you can make a real difference in the lives of others? Springfield Homes Manor House, a Licensed Shared Housing Establishment under IDPH Assisted Living, is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) or Certified Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our team. We operate two residential homes in Chatham, Illinois, providing exceptional care for up to six residents while also conducting research to improve the quality of life for the elderly population we serve.

This role is for the 7am to 3pm day shift at our small, shared housing assisted living home. As a CNA or DSP, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents’ daily needs and routines. With a pay range of $18.50 to $21.50 per hour (based on experience, availability, reliability, and position fit), this is an opportunity to work in a close-knit environment where your contributions truly matter.

In this role, you will: - Provide morning care and assist with personal hygiene. - Support residents during breakfast, lunch, snacks, and hydration. - Assist with toileting, transfers, and daytime routines. - Perform light cleaning, kitchen cleanup, and maintain a tidy environment. - Document care activities and communicate effectively with management. - Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times.

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements: - CNA or Certified DSP certification (required). - At least 2 years of recent geriatric care experience (preferred). - Strong attendance record and dependable transportation. - Ability to follow written instructions and complete required documentation. - CPR certification, TB test, and food handler documentation (preferred). - Must pass all required background checks.
