Security Communications Center Specialist Overview We’re looking for an experienced Security Communications Center (SCC) Specialist to join our SOC National Intelligence Division team. The SCC Specialist supports the 24/7 communications center, dispatch, and real‑time monitoring services in support of secure government facilities. Duties include receiving, processing, and routing emergency and non‑emergency calls; monitoring cameras, alarms, and access control systems; coordinating responses with officers and first responders; and maintaining accurate communications and incident records in accordance with government directives and site‑specific procedures. Location Kunia/Wahiawa, Hawaii. Position is contingent upon contract award. Responsibilities Monitor and operate security communication systems, including cameras, alarm panels, access control systems, and electronic surveillance tools; identify and report security anomalies in real time. Receive, process, and dispatch emergency and non‑emergency calls, relaying accurate, time‑sensitive information to police, fire, medical, and security personnel in accordance with established dispatch protocols. Respond to and coordinate alarm events (burglary, trespass, unauthorized entry, life safety); track officer deployment; provide continuous situational updates until incident resolution. Manage radio communications, monitor officer status, respond to requests for assistance, and elevate critical transmissions following site procedures. Maintain detailed incident, alarm, and dispatch records, including call times, officer arrival, system activations, notifications, and resolution details in government‑approved systems. Support overall Communications Center operations by conducting alarm resets, performing routine system checks, issuing emergency notifications, assisting team members, and completing required training and recertification. Physical and Mental Requirements Visual acuity to prepare and analyze data, transcribe documents, view a computer, read, inspect objects, and operate machinery. Pushing or pulling, balancing, manual dexterity, stooping, grasping, reaching, feeling. Lifting motion or lifting objects more than 25 pounds; climbing, walking, repetitive motions. Hearing, talking, capacity to think, concentrate, and focus over long periods; ability to read/write complex documents in English. Capacity to reason, make sound decisions, express thoughts orally accurately, quickly, and loudly. Ability to wear protective equipment, regularly perform all job functions at the company’s office or work site, and withstand environmental conditions. Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. CI Polygraph acceptable pending full‑scope polygraph and contractual approval. U.S. or Naturalized citizenship required. Experience in security operations, emergency dispatch, monitoring, or communications in a government, military, or cleared environment. Government‑approved SCC training, including dispatch procedures, alarm monitoring, communication protocols, and security modules; annual recertification required. Valid State‑Issued ID or driver’s license; age 18+. Benefits Competitive hourly pay ranging from $23.37 to $33.00.
