Step into a dynamic role dedicated to supporting elementary students' growth and success as a School Psychologist on a contract assignment near Anderson, CA. This position focuses exclusively on working with elementary-aged students, providing a unique chance to make a meaningful impact during their foundational years. Starting as soon as possible and extending through June 2027, this long-term opportunity allows you to build lasting relationships and see the results of your care and expertise.
What You'll Bring:
- Current state of California license as a School Psychologist
- Experience collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
- Understanding of elementary student development and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and positive learning environment
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting evaluations and assessments for elementary-age students to identify academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Developing data-driven recommendations and interventions
- Participating in IEP meetings and working closely with multidisciplinary teams
- Providing guidance and consultation to teachers and parents to enhance student well-being
- Supporting crisis intervention and response initiatives when needed
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies as appropriate
