Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Charlottesville, Virginia.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist\n Discipline: Allied Health Professional\n Start Date: 10/12/2026\n Duration: 48 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 8 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Days, 5x8hrs\n Hours: 40 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 12, 2026\n Length: 48 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for Cardiac Interventional Radiology, requiring ARRT VI, BLS, and 2+ years of vascular IR experience.Details\n \n Imaging support in the OR working vascular interventional radiology\n 5x8 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM\n Rotating call every 4th week\n Hybrid OR and interventional radiology work settings including special procedures\n Uses Siemens equipment and ultrasound\n Requirements\n \n Minimum 2 years of experience required\n ARRT VI and BLS certifications required\n VA state license required if applicable, pending licenses accepted\n BSN preferred\n Trauma Level I experience preferred\n Skilled in vascular studies/procedures, angioplasty, endovascular interventions, EVAR, TEVAR, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, and upper and lower extremity angiography\n Experience prepping access sites and using vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose)\n Carotid stenting experience preferred\n Additional Information\n \n Perform imaging support for vascular interventional procedures in the OR\n Must float within scope of practice as needed\n 50-mile radius rule applies for this unit, so local candidates are not accepted\n Maximum 40 hours of RTO per 13-week contract, with all RTO disclosed at submission\n Any pre-start vacation time between sign date and start date must be disclosed\n Previous UVA employees must have 1-year separation and leadership approval to return\n External travelers cannot exceed 365 total assignment days and are not eligible to return after reaching this limit\n Specialty-specific orientation modules are completed during onboarding\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-748044.
