Lead Licensed Veterinary Technician - Mamaroneck Veterinary Hospital PetVet Care Centers' Mamaroneck Veterinary Hospital is currently seeking a Lead Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. Successful qualified candidates are eligible for a $1,500.00 Sign‑on Bonus. Join our team as a Lead Licensed Veterinary Technician who performs the duties of medical technical staff (e.g., technicians and assistants), as well as scheduling and supervising the staff of the assigned department. Expedites the care and efficiency of the department and is in charge of patient care standards for the department. Must lead the team by example, demonstrating organizational skills, following company policies, and maintaining a professional attitude. Key Responsibilities Maintain processes for effective medical record keeping and billing. Collect and process work charts. Assist with entering in‑patient charges and/or procedures performed in the billing system. Ensure invoices are sent monthly and as requested by clients and doctors. Process payments and monthly statements. Resolve escalated financial problems with clients, collect delinquent accounts and NSF checks, and determine when special financial agreements are appropriate. Assist with monitoring and reporting on accounts receivable. Prepare, print and mail invoice or statement copies for customers as requested. Perform other duties as assigned. Be dependable and punctual. Qualifications (Required) High School Diploma or the equivalent. Must be a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT). High level of competence in the complete range of veterinary technician skills. Experience working in a team environment. Customer service skills. Verbal and written communication skills. Supervisory skills, including performance management, feedback, and communications. Professionalism and ability to properly handle confidential information. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Time management. Interpersonal skills. Multi‑tasking and setting priorities. Empathy. Schedule Monday‑Friday from 8:30 am‑6:00 pm. 4–5 days per week.
